Yoga for Kapha Type

Yoga for Kapha Type can be very effective if it is applied correct. As we know  three Dosha Theory based on 3 Gunas, 5 elements. Raja, Sattva, Tamas mixed with water, earth, fire, air, ether. Kapha dosha is a mix of water and Earth. Kapha people in average small, can be also big person. This person has a tendency for gain weight, having oedema. The skin of those people is oft very wet and has less blood circulation. The metabolism is slower. These people used to complain about the cold and wet. Kapha people are emotional and have big attachment. At the same time they are calm, satisfied, reliable. They can not easily develop detachment.  Kapha has big energy reserve, but they have a lack of motivation in order to use this energy. In asana Kapha required movement and motivated activity that makes kapha performing the practice. Yoga practice for the kapha can work in case if kapha is low or aggravated.As kapha located in stomach and responsible for Ojas (stamina) it is responsible for good immunity. The asanas that reduce kapha help to remove stomach heaviness. Asana that increases frequency of the pulse, breathing will reduce Kapha. Kapha will move from the stomach and lungs and removed the body through mouse and nose.As a result of the practice kapha will normalize the weight, reduces problems with stool. You can add to the practice daily shatkarma with neti. Pranayama as nadi shodhana, bhastrika with surya bheda can be beneficial.
